Eric C Morgan

Eric is a Hawaii transplant who grew up in working class towns across New York State and in 2007 he moved to California where he earned an MFA in Visual Art from JFK University in Berkeley, CA.

Eric has shown his paintings and drawings in galleries around NY state including the State University Plaza Gallery in Albany, Cosmopolitan Gallery in Buffalo, and Rockefeller Arts Center in Fredonia. He also exhibited video, paintings and installation at the Arts & Consciousness Gallery in Berkeley, CA.

In 2011 Eric moved to O'ahu’s Windward side where he lived for 6 years. He currently has a working studio Honolulu’s Chinatown Art District. Since moving to Hawai'i he has shown work in a variety of venues  and exhibitions around Honolulu, including: thirtynine hotel (multimedia space), The Arts at Mark's Garage, CONTACT at the Honolulu Museum of Art School, Studio114 Productions and Paradise Cove Gallery. He also held a studio at the experimental arts community Aupuni Place where he exhibited in several shows. In 2019 Eric had a solo show titled Through The Tunnel at Ars Cafe & Gallery.

Alongside his solo practice, Eric co-founded the multimedia collaboration Date by Date Productions (DxDp) with Marysol A Damo in 2016. Upon meeting and creating DxDp, they were selected to show their short film 'immerse|journey' at the 2016 TedxHonolulu Conference held at the Neil S. Blaisdell Center and in 2019 at the Made In Hawaii Film Festival held at the Hilo Palace Theater.
